  • Won 1st place at Reno Jazz Festival Competition as Alto I in Synchronicity (A Cappella Group).
  • Won 2nd place at Monterey Jazz Festival Next Generation Competition as Alto I in Synchronicity.
  • Recognized for the Certificate of Outstanding Musicianship on scat singing at Reno Jazz Festival.

Miki's other professional jazz / music experience:

  • Performed with The Joe Ferrari Big Band.
  • Singing as an Alto singer in the award-winning A Cappella groups, Synchronicity and Vocal Flight.  Three CDs released.  Participated in a performance tour (seven gigs in six cities) throughout France.
  • Played YAMAHA Electone (electronic organ) in a variety of genres (w/ Certificate of YAMAHA Electone Performance Level 6).
